Rapids in Washington

Long time since I entered a dream but this was a doozy.

Was in Washington State. Went shopping with A and her friend Br. There was some kind of natural disaster and people had to get out on boats. I think we had an inflatable raft. We got out and had fun on the water. Suddenly, we were on a lake. We wanted to go back the way we came but a female police officer told us the way back was closed due to boats getting flooded. We tried going back that was but we saw that the way was definitely closed off by what looked like large swans. We chose an alternate route that brought us to rapids. It was really choppy but eventually we got to a landing where we were able to take the boat out. I thought we had gone a long distance like to Redmond but it was only downtown Seattle. The three of us went into a nearby mall. I think we went shopping. Then we decided it was time to go. Br had to go to the bathroom and A and I went to blow up the boat by a payphone again. We presumed that Br would want to take the boat again to go back but we were unsure. At the payphones someone who resembled one of my former D.D. students seemed relieved to see us and asked for change to make a call (maybe to call a cab). I didn’t want to give her change so I made a big deal of the fact that I was there to inflate my raft/boat, not to make a call. I had change and was sort of hiding it. A said that she would give her the change, which took the pressure off me. The student thanked us and asked if we wanted to split a cab back home. I said we were going to take the boat and wondered if all of us could fit in it. Around then, my alarm went off.
